Hey! I don't know if I should post here or on "Research", I hope it's OK.

I am trying to update ArcEmu to 4.3.4 and I am having some issues, I need some help.

I have updated the DBCs, UpdateFields and (some) of the authentication opcodes.

Here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/Dt476vI.png

Logon connects successfully, I did not change anything, I was told 4.3.4 authentication is not different in logon.

Here is every line explained in world:
Sent opcode 20311 (a string, "RLD OF WARCRAFT CONNECTION - SERVER TO CLIENT"), the server sends this
The big opcode is the same thing, just sent by the client to the server
mSeed - forget it, not important
Opcode 17730 is SMSG_AUTH_CHALLENGE
Opcode 1097 is CMSG_AUTH_SESSION
Then the server tells us someone wants to connect
Opcode 23990 is SMSG_AUTH_RESPONSE
Opcode 10036 is SMSG_CLIENTCACHE_VERSION
Opcode 19205 is SMSG_ACCOUNT_DATA_TIMES

All these opcodes have been updated to 4.3.4. What happens in-game: Success! -> Realm list -> Click on realm -> Quickly say "Connected" and "Logging in to game server" -> Back to realm list...

Any tips, what should I do next? Thanks!

Hi,

take a look to LogonOpcodes.h:
// Authentication
    RCMSG_AUTH_CHALLENGE				= 9,
    RSMSG_AUTH_RESPONSE					= 10,

    // Character->Account Transmission
    RSMSG_REQUEST_ACCOUNT_CHARACTER_MAPPING		= 11,
    RCMSG_ACCOUNT_CHARACTER_MAPPING_REPLY		= 12,

    // Update Character->Account Mapping
    RCMSG_UPDATE_CHARACTER_MAPPING_COUNT		= 13,
    RSMSG_DISCONNECT_ACCOUNT				= 14,

maybe this will help you.

LogonCommServer.cpp would also be interesting:
static logonpacket_handler Handlers[RMSG_COUNT]

Arcemu supports 3.3.5a 12340 and that only.
If you want to fork Arcemu and update your version, you are welcome to do so, but keep that out of here.
Thanks!
