Hey all.
How is everyone? Does anyone still remember me? I used to be one of the database developers it was called Squire-DB. That was back in 2009 though. Wow, its been a long time. After that I quit playing WoW. Nice to see ArcEmu is still around, good to see Dfighter, Hasbro, JackPoz and Navid still here. I wonder where did Vlack go? Anyways, last time I played WoW and tried making a blizzard like database World of Warcraft only had three expansion packs. I have not played any of the expansion packs which came out after WOTLK.
So does anyone want to update me? What has been going around with ArcEmu? Is it still on the top? What about databases? Which database is the most blizzard like?
I wish I could make a comeback and start getting into the WoW community again but sadly I own a laptop now and thus, can not play WoW on it.

But its good to see so many people here, I see many old faces :P People I have worked with, and people who I just became friends with, especially a few ArcEmu devs.

Hi!
Yes I remember you, and no Arcemu isn't even close to being one of the top, since most of us are quite busy with other stuff ( school, work, girlfriend/wife, etc ), so Arcemu is mostly sleeping right now.

The latest Blizzlike Database is LoE Arcemu Wold Database. It's based on whydb.

http://dev.landofelv...hp/en:Main_Page

GIT:
http://landofelves.net/gitweb/
git://landofelves.net/loe_world.git

Because the work on ArcEmu is low I have started also our own core. It's called Sunrise core and is based on ArcEmu. I have added some patches I found here, fixed some bugs, expanded it for some fun functions and other stuff. Main advantage for me is that I can expand the database in the way I want.

Some of the changes:
Enabled pathfinding back
Have a weather system that allows unlimited seasons
Old Mails are deleted
Better autionhouse rules for low populated servers
Group XP changed
Fixed some minor bugs
Added some Lua functions
Prepared for a new calendar event system
Added some fun stuff like saving a color for each char in the say channel or save a different DisplayID for a char. Now you can play a gobblin or a dragonhawk too ^^
Planned: NPC and GO that grow with time, f.ex. trees, animals -> make your own farmville ^^

And because there all still tons of bugs and unfinished scripts, any help is welcome.
Try out the LoE ArcEmu World database. Please visit dev.LandOfElves.net.

Magnifikator, while you are free to fork Arcemu and do pretty much anything you want with it, I do not think it is appropriate to look for contributors here :)
