Hey all.

Having been running arcemu happily on os x for a whle, I've decided to try compiling it on a raspberry Pi running a debian wheezy variant.
Compile is aborting right off the bat. The errors occur on lines with "__cdecl" declarations.
cmake isn't complaining at all.

System info:

arcemu@raspberrypi ~/installer/arcemu/code $ uname -a && gcc --version && cmake --version
Linux raspberrypi 3.1.9+ #168 PREEMPT Sat Jul 14 18:56:31 BST 2012 armv6l GNU/Linux
gcc (Debian 4.6.3-8+rpi1) 4.6.3

cmake version 2.8.9-rc1

(Are these versions okay?)

Compile errors:

"__cdecl" is probably not defined on your platform, and our G3D header only defines it for x86 based systems ( both 32 and 64bit )

in platform.h:
// setup function calling conventions
#   if defined(__i386__) && ! defined(__x86_64__)

#   	ifndef __cdecl
#   		define __cdecl __attribute__((cdecl))
#   	endif

#   	ifndef __stdcall
#   		define __stdcall __attribute__((stdcall))
#   	endif

#   elif defined(__x86_64__)

#   	ifndef __cdecl
#   		define __cdecl
#   	endif

#   	ifndef __stdcall
#   		define __stdcall
#   	endif
#   endif // calling conventions

I suppose adding

#else
#ifndef   __cdecl
#define __cdecl
#endif

before the last endif, should do the trick ( for this particular problem ), but I have no way of testing it, since I don't have a rasberry pi.

Thanks Dfighter. Makes sense. I'll give it a shot.

I have taken some time to fix the compile errors thrown by G3D on arm:

You can find the changes here.

Basically, what I did was replace the x86 assembler for atomic operations on int32 by the builtin functions provided by GCC. This way it is not necessary to care about the architecture, and no reinventing the wheel in asm.

ArcEmu itself compiles fine now.<br>
