Don't know if it's a blizz or an Arcemu fault:

If you dont' have any free inventory slots and start handcrafting for ex. bolt of linen cloth from linen you will loose the linen. There is an error message: No free slots found in your inventory.

You get skill but loose the mats.

This is an ArcEmu fault. If I remember correctly there should be given a client-sided error message and the crafting should be aborted.
