I am getting an error on the CMake process and I was doing just fine until I updated to the newest arcemu server

I dunno much about mac but

says pretty much everything...

you need to change your compiler and if you google "mac os x compiler" I got to this article http://www.tech-reci...l-gcc-compiler/
which is exactly what you are looking for

good luck :P

It's probably because the latest OS X uses llvm clang instead of GCC.
I will see what I can do about this, it requires some research :P

Yeah Grimnir, you are right and I understand it is in the error message itself but that's the problem I have tried all the work arounds and nothing is working, thanks for the link but no luck so far, I am still trying other things as well to see if I can figure out what else to do. The only changes I made was updating Xcode from 4.2 to 4.3 and getting a new source of arcemu core, and thanks for your help. Also dfighter thanks so much for looking into this matter and seeing if there is something we can do to fix this problem I am going to see if I can change the way it compiles with gcc using xcode before trying anything. I will keep you posted as well thanks for all the help so far :P

Well llvm looks a promising project so it's worth adding support for it, but as I said it requires research.
As a first step I will install FreeBSD since they changed too, and experiment with that for a bit, then I will try to install Lion into a VM and see if it works with that too ( I don't have access to a mac so this is the only way I can look into it ).

Hey Dfighter...any chance to look into llvm?

Let me know if you need a login on Mountain Lion to check into it.

That sounds great, thanks!
However I cannot do anything right now, considering I have to work thru the weekend :)
