Haste Cap Problems

Hey

ive changed the haste cap in my core but when i then play my chars still have a 1.0 second hit delay even though it says its at 0.00

These are what i changed

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_MELEE ] * (1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_MELEE_HASTE) / 2.0f))));

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_MELEE ] * (1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_MELEE_HASTE) / 2.0f))));

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_RANGED ] * (1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_RANGED_HASTE) / 2.0f))));



is there anything else i should change?

i have searched over the internet and can't seem to find anything about it

Never mind i got it myself now :)

Well we could probably add some option regarding the haste cap in the config files.
Also you are not supposed to "search all over the Internet, but simply read and understand the code, and change what you wish".

I know that would be alot easier for alot of people out there :) (Even come across people who were charging people for this)
or maybe just make it even simpler in the source files :D but you did a great job creating this :)

Appels Ascent i didnt make it instant attack speed though i thought i had :/ but i got it to allmost instant

ranged but instant spell!

You will need 1577 haste for instant spell :) (allso supposedly for instant att and instant ranged)

It can all be found in player.cpp btw

okay first you should search for
void Player::UpdateAttackSpeed()


and you should be very close to something like this

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_MELEE ] * (1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_MELEE_HASTE) / 100.0f))));

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_MELEE ] * (1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_MELEE_HASTE) / 100.0f))));

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_RANGED ] * (1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_RANGED_HASTE) / 100.0f))));


you should change that to

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_MELEE ] * (0.00f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_MELEE_HASTE) / 38.61f))));

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_MELEE ] * (0.00f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_MELEE_HASTE) / 38.61f))));

(uint32)((float) speed / (m_attack_speed[ MOD_RANGED ] * (0.00f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_RANGED_HASTE) / 38.61f))));


but that isnt for spell so now you should search for
PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_SPELL_HASTE


and you should see this

float haste = 1.0f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_SPELL_HASTE) / 100.0f;
	if(haste != SpellHasteRatingBonus)
	{
		float value = GetCastSpeedMod() * SpellHasteRatingBonus / haste; // remove previous mod and apply current

		SetCastSpeedMod(value);
		SpellHasteRatingBonus = haste;	// keep value for next run
	}


Change this to

float haste = 0.00f + CalcRating(PLAYER_RATING_MODIFIER_SPELL_HASTE) / 38.61f;
	if(haste != SpellHasteRatingBonus)
	{
		float value = GetCastSpeedMod() * SpellHasteRatingBonus / haste; // remove previous mod and apply current

		SetCastSpeedMod(value);
		SpellHasteRatingBonus = haste;	// keep value for next run
	}
