HI Arcemu! I'm new here!
I'm going through the Wiki server setup tutorial and I'm not clear on one detail. The Collision -Steps to extracting vmaps section says:
"Copy the following files to your World of Warcraft directory ( where wow.exe is )"
Simple enough! But, I'm unclear what version of the client I need to have before I perform this step. I was actually assuming this tutorial would guide me to compile the matching client installation to match the server.

Questions:
Q1) What version of the client should I have installed before copying the Arcemu\tools to my exe folder?
Q2) Where can I dl the client?
Or
Q3) Can I build the client and install it from Archmu? Q3b How?

Thanx
~BOOGlEMAN

Hmm, I see on another tutorial that says "3.3.3a client" is that right? Where can I get it?

A1)
I realize that it was written on the main site with too small characters so I've highlighted it for you

A2-3)
You go into a store where you can buy other computer games, and buy the base game + the burning crusade and wrath of the lich king expansions ( or alternatively digitally order and download it from Blizzard Entertainment Incorporated ), then download the offline patches up to 3.3.5a, and install them,

I have an old Burning Crusades and an old Wrath of the Lich King. Both have been registered back when they were new. I stopped playing for a while but still have the account at bat..net. The files were wiped from my computer. Are these former registrations going to be a problem when reinstalling and setting up a localhost arcemu?

I'm also installing both offline to make sure all updates remain manual only to the 3.3.5a.

Thanks,
merkat

~ Please pardon the noob.

No they are not going to be a problem, since Arcemu has nothing to do with battle.net.
Also next time please post a new topic, instead of bumping a year old one! Thanks!
