Hi there and welcome to our magnificent forums!
The only reason why this problem happens is that those files are not accessible, so you either have them in the wrong directory ( like it's called dbc instead of DBC ), or because of wrong rights, seeing how you are running Arcemu as root, the rights issue cannot happen, that leaves me to conclude the files are in the wrong directory.

Nope, they are in the right area. Do they need to be writable also? Or would root take care of that?

P.S. And BTW To the forums, Hell yea its magnificent forums! Ha Thats all i use is IPB xD Its the **** ha

No they do NOT need write permissions, however if you had them in the right directory you'd not get this message...

For the record this is how your directory structure should look like

Except for the last file, I created that myself.

So after all they weren't in the right place, huh? :)
Usually you get this new error message when you are using the wrong DBC files.
Remember you need the DBC files of World of Warcraft version 3.3.5a build 12340

For the record xD You said to put them in the lowercased dbc xD Just saying and two, I know i for sure got the right DBC files cause i threw up the Private server on my laptop that is running Windows 7 tho... But it worked perfect. I was getting like 10 to 15 people on it no problems (just the glitches that are recent).... But Yea i know i got the right ones :) And i also did decompiled it from the right WoW Client....

so you either have them in the wrong directory ( like it's called dbc instead of DBC )

means that it should be in the DBC directory.

Well if you had the right DBCs it wouldn't throw you buffer overflow errors.... It doesn't throw me those errors, nor anyone else who has the right DBC files. So then we can safely deduce that it's your DBC files that are at fault.
