Feel free to make some requests.

Rebuilding the ticket system to be faster, and to incorporate the automated responses I have been working on. Current code is a mess as far as readability goes. Functions are doubled or named improperly fixing this.

New features:
[list][*]NPC spawning via ObjectPlay - will be receiving a makeover and some better integration.[*]Saved coordinates for fast teleportation[*]Saved or recently used lists of objects/npcs spawned, and commands[*]Garbage collection tweaks played with a little[*]New forms for adding multiple items to vendors "> Add between XXXX and XXXX item to vendor" as well as item error checks so it doesn't add multiple items to a vendor.[*]Predefined macros/customizable bars that sit over the aura frames - and are dragable/snap into place and lock.[*]Simplifying the main interface window and adding tabs and alpha, copying the mangos addon a little, were getting our own look.[*]Predefined responses to tickets and better handling of ticket opening/closing.[*]HOPEFULLY the bag patch I have been waiting to apply as well.[/list]
The new ticket system will work as follows.
[list=1][*]Gamemaster chooses macro to send player at ticket opening or uses a predefined macro - THEY WILL save cross character.[*]Player makes ticket[*]Gamemaster channel alerts gamemaster of ticket, multiple alerts will appear, onscreen text and popup (which is getting fixed when I redo the code thats broken with that frame)[*]The gamemaster can press a button to do many predefined actions when answering the player's ticket. Not just whisper the player a predefined response, but go invisible and teleport to the ticket owner and follow him/her in a "ghost" mode (via spell).[/list]Ticket closing:

At this point I have some of this done and awaiting testing, I want some ideas from the people that use my addon while im doing work on it, fire away.

I will be looking for some translators as well.

So far its coming along well, I need to make up a new GUI template for the frames... thinking something neat like:
Tabs for switching between object/npc/admin/player commands and modifications
Alpha and transparency for some better integration into the game world
Ability to resize the entire addon + allow the addon to be resized with the interface scale.
When 4.0+ support comes out I will start work on the interface revise, new features I really want can be extracted from the player/inspect frames.

update 2/1/2011:
adding NPC/GameObject gossips and other edits to the database to ArcGM (As a plugin named ArcGM-Dev to save addon memory for those with only gm level access.)

The "add multiple items" should have some kind of checks for non-exhisting items, maybe a parameter in the ArcEmu command to disable the error log ingame (like a 1 as last parameter). Unless you can check it in Lua, really no idea.

I forgot how tickets are handled now (last time i was a GM was more than 1 y ago), but would be nice to disaply in the tickets list which GM is reading the ticket, so 10 GMs will not help the same player at same time.

I Know I had Issues trying to get tickets a read and delete them Have the time i got LUa Errors Or no such ticket but when i go to the db its there. I dont what you need to do to fix that but that would be nice.

A stacktrace of the bug and conformation you are on the latest rev would be nice.

Ok you say that the addon not loading if the player is not gm is impossible, well thats understandable, but how about if there is a password that the admin sets that is required to use the addon, I don't know much but just an idea.

tbh i never looked at how addons were handled, but i think i remember the possibility to blacklist addons. You could script an exception for gms to let it load ONLY IF the player is a gm? ofc im not sure if its possible and it would require reading up, modifying things, testing, so uh. you are on your own.. :unsure:

Is it even needed? The addon shouldn't be able to perform any privileged operation without the player being a GM anyways.
If it's exploitable somehow then that needs to be fixed server-side.
