READ THIS: REPORT HERE BROKEN/PARTLY BROKEN SPELLS/ABILITIES/TALENTS OF THIS CLASS, OR MISSING/UNACCURATE INFORMATION ALREADY POSTED ON THE LIST BELOW. EVERYTHING MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN REPRODUCED ON THE OFFICIAL ARCEMU TEST SERVER WITH THE LASTEST REVISION, OTHERWISE THE POST WILL BE DISCARDED AND THE POSTER WILL BE CONSIDERED AN UNRELIABLE MOFO.


The following information has been reproduced on the official ArcEmu test server, r3481.

Notes:
1) Probably the effect of some talents that give a chance (or improves the chance) to resist a dispel do not work.
2) The Base Mana Pool has a wrong Value, reason why the mana cost of the spells are too high. Read this Ticket.
3) AoE Spells: Deal damage to the caster if there are no enemies in the area of damage.


Broken/Partly Broken Spells.

Devouring Plague - The damage done is not being displayed, and it heals the caster by the 100% of the damage done, each tick it heals caster by the damage done to the target.
Mind Sear - Does less damage than what its supposed to be.
Fade - Broken.
Shadowfiend - Broken.
Prayer of Mending - Does not pass to another player. (fixed in rev 4141)
Mind Control - You can't attack or do spells with the controlled Humanoid.
Divine Hymn - Affects all units(including NPCs) regardless of faction or party.
Hymn of Hope - Affects all units(including NPCs) regardless of faction or party.


Broken/Partly Broken Talents

Discipline Tree

Silent Resolve - Broken
Improved Inner Fire - Does not increase the spell power or armor of Inner Fire, only adjusts the number of charges.
Improved Power Word: Fortitude - Increases the effect of PW: fortitude by 15/30 instead of 15%/30%.
Absolution - It seems to reduce the mana needed by more than supposed to be. (Someone confirm this please)
Mental Agility - It seems to reduce the mana needed by more than supposed to be. (Someone confirm this please)
Reflective Shield - It seems to reflect the 100% of the damage absorbed (rank 2).
Renewed Hope - Broken
Rapture - Broken
Divine Aegis - Broken.
Borrowed Time - Spell power -> shield part doesnt work.

Holy Tree

Blessed Recovery - It scales with Spell Power (99.99% sure that it should'nt).
Spirit of Redemption - Does not allow casting after death while effect is active.
Surge of Light - Procs, but buff wears off immediately.
Holy Concentration - Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Re-designed: Mana regeneration is increased by 16/32/50% for 8 sec after you critically heal with Flash Heal, Greater Heal, Binding Heal or Renew. (Currently each rank still have a 10/20/30 % chance to proc, according to hackfix.cpp procFlags, and it increases the mana regen by 16, not 16% (all ranks).
Blessed Resilience - Procs even when getting a healing critical and when procs it does not prevent the priest from being critically hit by 60%.
Body and Soul - Does not increase the speed nor gives the chance to dispel a posion with abolish disease spell.
Serendipity - Does not Stack.
Circle of Healing - Does not have a 40yd cast range, seems more like 5.
Empowered Renew - The instant heal does not happen.
Test of Faith - Broken.
Divine Providence - Does not reduce the cooldown of prayer of mending.
Guardian Spirit - Sacrifice part does not work at all.

Shadow Tree

Spirit Tap - Even if you don't get exp at level 80, it should proc when dealing a killing blow on a target which's in the level range that give exp (> Gray).
Improved Spirit Tap - Broken
Improved Mind Blast - It does not give Mind Blast the ability to reduce the healing taken.
Shadow Reach - Increases the range by 10-20 instead of 10-20%.
Shadow Weaving - It does not proc. (again).
Vampiric Embrace - It also heals the caster by 3% when in party.
Improved Vampiric Embrace - Broken.
Improved Devouring Plague - The instant damage upon cast does not get dealt.
Shadowform - It does not give the specified dots the ability to have a chance to critically hit. Not sure about the haste buff.
Improved Shadowform - Broken.
Misery - Does not give a chance for harmful spells to hit by 3% lasting 24 sec.
Psychic Horror - Fear & Disarm effect get applied correctly but disarm effect wears of after 2 seconds instead of 10 seconds.
Vampiric Touch - Mana regen is a % of the damage done with any spell, it should only give 1% of max mana to party/raid members when the priest casts mind blast.
Pain and Suffering - Broken.
Twisted Faith - It does not increase the spell power by an x% of the total spirit, but a part of it(spirit coming from spells such as Divine Spirit do not count, but they should), and damage done by Mind Flay and Mind Blast is not increased by 2/4/6/8/10% if your target is afflicted by your Shadow Word: Pain.
Dispersion - Mana regen broken.

Vold, should Shadow Weaving cast when Mind Flay/Mind Sear are casted, or should it proc when they 'tick'?

Because inspecting spell.dbc shows that the periodic triggered spell (EventPeriodicTriggerSpell) is the one that will proc Shadow Weaving.

Woot, I found the answer.

Shadow Weaving

"By Ineras on 04/19/2009 (Patch 3.1.0)
As of patch 3.1 Mind Flay now gives one stack of Shadow Weaving per tick."

BTW, nice work you're doing reporting broken spells like this! Good job!

Is Shadowform working? Is it increasing damage and allowing DOT's do crit?

It increases the damage, reduces the damage taken, but it doesn't give the ability for the specified dots to crit, and not sure about the haste thing.

I've been reading and watching some videos: When it says that shadowform gives the ability to critically hit by 100% increase damage, it think its like this:
Without shadowform the specified dots have 0% chance to crit.
With shadowform the specified dots have a X% chance to crit (based on spell critical strike), besides the critical hit does 100% bonus damage. (E.G: if it hits by 500, then it crits by 1000).
So a priest with 20% spell critical hit, that deals 600 damage with Shadow Word: Pain, 400 with devouring plague, and 300 with vampiric touch.
Will have a chance of 20% to critically hit with Shadow Word: Pain, dealing 1200 damage, the same to critically hit with evouring plague dealing 800 damage, and the same chance to critically hit with Vampiric Touch dealing 600 damage.

And btw, shadow weaving works now, but increases the damage of shadowspells by ~ 1,1% each stack, instead of 2%. Still doesn't proc with Mind Flay or Mind Sear.

Just checked and it works, but there's 2 lil issues:
1) When the characters are at full health, it doesn't heal them. (not so important)
2) It also heals the caster by 3% when in party (should only heal the other members by 3% and the caster by 15%).
