I use a mix of whyDB and IFDB. As they both have great updates, some exel in things the other does'nt. Consider using the best of sevral different ones xD

i use IFDB myself so i recommend that. Think he takes updates from each of them when it comes out changesets. could be wrong but thats what i think.

Well, i am useing WhyDB and there are not much problems. I used IFDB at 3.3.3 but the NPC database (creature_proto and creature_names) is not all that good. I recomend that your primary database is WhyDB and then add the quests DB from IFDB. I did this because when i updated at 3.3.5 there were many missing quests in WhyDB. Now however this is fixed, with changeset 100.

hmm...

[wiki]
Packet parsing is the only way to obtain official data, with all bytes and correct waypoints and such. Currently NCDB is the only public project that uses this method. Cache parsing means most data will be incorrect...

i suggest to use whydb, it has some bugs, but it is not so hard to report them to forums or in bugtracker.
another reason: it has some more "WORKING" content than others at this moment - by me.
and last reason: it has good, skilled developers.
anyway, some things, that all these databases still dont have.

as player and maybe as dev, i'm not starting to start spam at this moment, simply go, use, test and you will see difference itself,
simple data which not requires strong scripting

i said, better than all, because almost all of these databases are started from 95 - 100 NCDB revisions based dbases, and these, yeah, with additions, but still dont have normal data content for blizzlike content. NCDB basically was closed... hm, 1 year?

Have to agree, WhyDB seems to be the only DB currently that is not filled with loads of bugs from outdated NCDB content.

Which is rather funny, because they are using the same method of updates to NCDB as DPDB is.

they must have some secret spice the others don't have... :o
