Quests show in the quest log that some quests have not been completed, when in fact they have I am guessing this is a 3.3 implementation issue.

For example: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=8889

This quest does this.

Bug report: http://www.arcemu.in...emu/ticket/1066

Regards,
Ogchaos

Using whydb 100 and psychobandit's fixes for this quest, when you disable the third power spire, the quest gets completed before the quest log and the tracker have the quantity updated from 0 to 1. The quest can still be turned in for rewards.

I know, but surely that behaviour is not normal?

Nope, that is not normal. Useable but not the correct functionally.

Probably should find and test some other quests of a similar design to see if there are consistent bugs.

The Shrine of Dath' Remar

http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=8345
You can read the plaque and it gives you an objective complete message. However, it does not complete in the quest log and therefore cannot turn it in.

Swift Discipline

http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9066
You can disipline each apprentice(turning them to pigs), but it does not complete in the quest log to turn it in.

This is becoming an issue.

Since updating to 3.3.2 I noticed Shrine of Dath'Remar actually worked :S

That's usually the first one I check on new releases, not had a look at Swift Discipline yet. Which revision are you running?

Garvey - you probably have script for Shrine of Dath'Remar and Ogchaos does not. Adding sQuestMgr.OnGameObjectActivate(_player, obj); in void WorldSession::HandleGameObjectUse(WorldPacket & recv_data) should fix all quests that require activating game object to compleate.
Swift Discipline - no script for that quest and core can't reach sQuestMgr.OnPlayerCast in Spell.cpp so you can't compleate it without script.

I've not got any Lua scripts which is why I was asking which revision he had, I figured it had been fixed in the core.

What about ArcScript? GameObject.cpp in MiscScripts has GO script for Shrine of Dath'Remar.

Ah right, sorry I thought you meant lua scripts. Yeah I've got ArcScripts, I never saw a reason to compile without it, I guess I thought everyone else would do the same :/

Thanks I'll try that now.
