What OS is the webserver on?
What Webserver and version?

Are you using your own computer or a hosting service?

Well, when I tried logging in before all this happened, it wouldn't let me connect to the website after I logged in.

I forgot.

To function correctly, ArcManager requires this patch to ArcEmu.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Revision 52

Significant changes have been made to the Security System to more correctly follow ArcEmu's GM levels.
It is recommended that you create a new config.php from the included config.dist.php.

Thank you

For the record, the MiniManager team (or whomever they stole it from) did the original work... We just converted it to ArcEmu. (And fixed a few things that couldn't have worked to begin with)

Here's a few of my suggestions:

  • Once a player is logged in, the nam that is displayed should also be able to link to the edit.php page.
  • Make the error messag say ERROR instead of ERR
  • The Terms of Service message should be editable by the owner. Also, to increase load time, the TOS should probably be stored in the config file, in the New Account options section.

If anyone wants to do the changes I've done, here's how:

Username link to control panel

Edit line 283 of header.php to:

            <div id="username"><a href="edit.php">'.$user_name.'</a> .:'.$user_lvl_name.'\'s '.$lang_header['menu'].':.</div>

Error Message

Edit line 39 of error.php to:

                      <br />ERROR!

Config-editable Terms of Service

In scripts/config.php search for:

$valid_ip_mask = array();
/* Sample config, you may have more then 1
$valid_ip_mask[0] = '255-0.255-0.255-0.255-0';
$valid_ip_mask[1] = '120-122.55.255-0.255-0';
$valid_ip_mask[2] = '190.50.33-16.255-0';
*/

On a new line, add:

//Terms of Service!
$conf_tos = 'Terms of Service\n\n

By registering to our server, you agree to follow our rules!';

Save and close config.php. In register.php edit line 248 to:

  global $lang_register, $lang_global, $output, $expansion_select, $lang_captcha ,$lang_command, $enable_captcha, $conf_tos;

Search for:

  $fp = fopen("mail_templates/terms.tpl", 'r') or die (error("Couldn't Open terms.tpl File!"));
  while (!feof($fp)) $terms .= fgets($fp, 1024);
  fclose($fp);

Edit it to:

  $terms .= $conf_tos;

Save and close register.php.

I'll keep this updated. ;)

Thanks :)

For the terms thing, I think we can keep our existing \mail_templates\terms.tpl ;)

Notice!
With r59, We have changed the contents of icons.zip.

If you already have an ArcManager install, and you're hosting on a *Nix system, you will need to delete all the *.png files in \img\icons and re-extract. (This may be necessary for MacOS as well)

This does not effect new installs of ArcManager or existing installs hosted on Windows systems.
