somehow the multi item grabber just freezes up @ windows 7 X64 in version 1.10, it worked nicely @ rev. 1.0 - 1.09 ??

I can confirm that as well, with 1.10 the multi-item inserting does not seem to work.

Nice, I look forward to the release, may I just make a suggestion. How about adding in something that saves the login information to your database so we do not have to retype it every time over again. Honestly it doesn't bother me at all but it might just be something for a nice little extra.

I updated with a better multi adder, but sometimes on my computer, it stops with adding :)
So please test it and report it back.

Thanks

Hmm, I can't seem to test it. The download link still seems to be 1.10 for me.

Well I am testing now and I tried a minor range from 42272 - 48000 and it got to 16 failed none added to DB and now it seems to be frozen.

Then when I go to close it it seems to close but when i go to reconnect it says connection timed out.

Do you have checks on your code rofni, to makes sure it doesn't just blindly run querys, and never stop for anything.

i have, but it runs good now, but sometimes when it load http://wow.allakhaza...m-xml.pl?witem=
It won't load and get stuck for a long time to timeout ...
I am trying to fix it

Edit : Oke i will update with a working version :) if you used the latest update with multi adder, you will be banned for 20 minutes from wowhead (sorry for that)
Wait 20 minutes and then use the latest version of item grabber, it works for latest arcemu !!!!

Edit2 : New update available for Multi adder ! It works :) just needed to change timer from 1s to 2s :( Try http://wow.allakhaza....pl?witem=49191 if you get
Too many requests, too quickly. Please use no more than 2 requests/second.
then you need to wait 20 minutes because you used the previous version. Sorry, this version works.

Wanted to say, GREAT APP. I love the idea and what you have done so far. Very nice work.

Since I started using this app at version 1.09 and then updated to 1.17, I am not sure this problem exists in versions 1.1 through 1.16, but here goes. When ever I use the multi Item it goes through the count of loaded and failed
but when it is complete it just sits there and you can not add new values and start the next set. You have to close the app then re-open to start a new range.

Also, just a suggestion, while it is processing the multi items range, it may be nice to show what item it is currently working on to help show that the app is indeed processing what item number is is currently on. Just a suggestion. I also like the suggestion of some how storing the DB info and pre-populate the DB connection fields, so, you don't have to re type them every time.

Just my 2 cents.

Keep up the great work!!! B)

I have to say i think you fixed it, I just attempted to implement 46089 - 49000, and it is working fine so far. Not finished yet but has been moving rite along and has not crashed or anything of the sort.

EDIT: Finished successfully, good work B)

It would be awesome if there we're a program like this that encompassed more than just items, such as spells, objects, npc's, quests, and more, that would be kickass.

Some of those things are more than just database entries, so even if it could do that, it wouldn't mean everything would suddenly work or be perfect. Even a number of items don't work correctly if they don't have the required scripts or changes in the server.

i was thinking on the BBC files, aren't the creatures saved in the DBC files ?
Maybe not their location, but their proto and name...
So i can create a DBC loader that adds the values to MySQL.

Tell me if i am wrong :P

Wrong :-p.

DBC's just store information about display ID's and other such things. Otherwise server's wouldn't be sending out packets with all the information.
