Hi all !

Started today on a new version of ItemGrabber.
The previous ItemGrabber is downloaded for more then 6500 times
So i am ready to create new tools for it !

it works with the latest rev.
Its almost ready that you can say add me the items from 14000-18000

when you run the app, it will check for the latest version, so when i release it and you run the tool, you will be able to update.

this was an easy fix tho just change the 'Relentless Gladiator's Bonegrinder' to "Relentless Gladiator's Bonegrinder"
but then i end up with

[Err] 1366 - Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'quest_id' at row 1

then i couldent be bothered anymore. what database are you using for this i should maybe change from whydb rev61?

its because of the value is empty and your mysql server doesn't accept empty cells.
I will try to fix it within 10 minutes.

I think u need to make some check for items like http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47115 and the other, i think the problem is in the 's which works when u do \'s (the Mysql doesnt like that)


f.e. 'Death\'s Verdict' instead of 'Death's Verdict'

Edit : Restart your tool and install the update ! It will fix the 2 errors.

Wow, great tool seems to work just fine... only take your time when u do this program.

I scanned for missing entries in my dbase and filled a lot xD... 2 morrow a full day of item testing ahead xD

Ok finally checked it out. Looks good, seems to be ok, except...

The multiple item part doesn't seem to work. I tried it to start with, with a small range. It came up with one failed and then kinda froze, no error messages or crash dumps. Just froze and needed to be shut down via the task manager. Tried it a few more times and didn't get any response, just instant freezing effect.

Scratch that bit, I'm an idiot! It WAS adding items, but as the app does still appear to freeze (becomes highly unresponsive, can't click anything etc.) and there's no icon to show it's working, or a cancel button and so on. It does come across as looking like it died.

However..

Tried the single item part. It let me add a couple, but is now telling me I have items in my DB when I don't (I'm viewing the database at the same time and watching for any changes), so I don't know why it's doing that.


Do I need to be running this in admin mode or something? I'm on Vista x64 Ultimate btw, if that makes a difference. Still voted your post up, for going to the trouble to even try make this, because it'll be awesome when it's fully working!

nice, but i wonder why is required disenchanting skill appearing twice in SQL? (4th and 5th number from the end, should be only 5th)

Thanks, i deleted that last disenchanting skill and added the right one.

Added a newer version, just restart and update !
It will support other Arcemu revisions.
