Greetings!

We're looking for 2-4 mature people who are able to fulfill a few tasks.
Please note, we aren't looking for applications if you post one, we'll delete your post and simply warn you.
If you are interested, I recommend you show us by being helpful and posting crashes and associated information as well as reporting bugs.

ARCEMU QUALITY ASSURANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES: To properly sort, remove and test reported bugs. To monitor and manage crash dump reports.

INFO: You will need to explain to users how to properly post information from a crash, as well you will need to close, delete, and or append both bug reports on the bug tracker and crash dumps on our forums.

NOTE: It is useful if you quote information from stickied topics (we all know users can't be f*d to read the stickies)

EXAMPLES:
1q. John reports a crash and does not post the proper frame of the callstack.
1a. QA replies asking them to post more relavent frames of the callstack.
for example: http://arcemu.org/fo...showtopic=17651

2q. Bob forgets to post a callstack, uh-oh!
2a. QA replies asking for a callstack to be appended to the original post*.

3q. George ignores the stickied threads(and other countless threads) and posts complete nonesense
3a. QA either 1. Uses the multi-moderation to "trash" the thread, or replies asking for more information.

4q. Mark creates a thread and forgets to post the locals
4a. QA replies asking for them to update their original post with the proper data (locals).

Perfect example of a lovely crash report: http://arcemu.org/fo...indpost&p=79541

BUGS!

When a user reports a bug they should at least provide useful information.
See: http://www.arcemu.in...he_Bug_Database

EXAMPLES: See tickets created by jackpoz or beileroord.
