Heya guys.
i have decided to take over FDE and have developed a new version

V2.0.3:UPDATES:
You can now create items as of how arcemu's structure is atm.
You can create Creatures as of how arcemu's structure is atm.

Any chance of getting the quest creator fixed? That would be epic! I hate making quests directly in the db >.< Aside from that, this is awesome! Good luck, and I hope to continue it!

EDIT: I checked it out, and it seems the quest creator works already :) Thanks for this!!! Now I don't have to hate doing quests :P

EDIT2: Received an error when attempting to update a creature. Was told to report it XD

are you using NCDB101?

be sure you have in Creature_proto at the end a collum called IsTrainingsDummy.
this is a field in arcemu core.

if you dont have it run the SQL update in

Arcemu/Trunk/Sql/World_updates and then 2806_trainingdummies.sql



EDIT: New version just made 2.0.3.1 see first post.

Im going to redo the WHOLE quest editor and also going to add an Gameobject editor.
for this i need some info.
i know the Wiki is down so maybe post it here.
i need the DB structure of the Quests and Gameobject_names as how its ATM.
then i can recode whole quests editor :)

thanks ill start asap with the Gameobject editor.
also i will make worldmap_info, Teleport_Coords, Recall, and all that sort of table EDITOR.
it will take some time, but it will be greate.

Ok, so I'm having a problem as of late. I hit the "Update" button to update a quest record, and it locked up the program. When I finally received an error message it said something about a stream or something, but I was unable to read it all before the program closed itself. Now whenever I try to reopen the program I get an error when connection that says either my info is wrong, or my MySQL server isn't started. I've checked to make absolutely sure it works, and even gone to far as to attempt to connect with Navicat, and I've yet to find a problem. Any idea what I could do to fix it?

EDIT: I seem to have fixed the problem, however I'm not sure how. I attempted to connect to my logon database using DDE, and I got an error that said logon.weather wasn't a table, which I already knew. I selected "quit" from the error window, and it closed the program. Then I did the same thing with the Character, and received the same error, but this time I pressed "continue" and the program opened up like normal. I got curious, so I opened the DB properties window again, and connected to my world DB. It worked correctly again. I'm not exactly sure if this is what fixed it, but I'm no longer having the problem I was above.

The quest Editor is not 100% stable in 3.1.3 DB.
it can be that it work for long but if you then are using like Zone: 1092 like that it wont insert bcus thats not a right colum.
i know the quest editor is big and dont want to search for all things so ill just redo the whole thing

Maybe your DB Blocked DDE for some time.

urm, the items still cant be accessed & edited ? tried both version.....

The error is "unknown column 'name1' in field list" since recent changes of structure,drops column name1,2,3,4 to name only

now it is only Name1
Are you using an 3.2 DB or 3.1.3?
3.2 Is in development atm.
3.1.3 Work if you use NCDB101 and run all Arcemu updates in World_Update.

can you please click on Detail and then post the lines wich is like

Window.Check.List on line blabla
Check.Line.List.frmGOeditor.

i dont need the last long part wich give a error of windows folders. :) then i can easy fix it.
actually i have disabled ScaleItems this is a part of heirloom items.
but with an detailed error log it will gime more info.
probably u miss that Collum in u DB be sure RUN ALL UPDATES in World_Update.
Here is that update from the World_Updates its long time aggo maybe u still miss it.

That structure is allready SUPPORTED by DDE Lastest version.

U posted the STRUCTURE of FDE Editor.
You cant get it by an error report.
So you have downloaded the 2.0.2 of FDE source and try to fix erros.
well U Have no SKILL in VB nor MYSQL So DONT fix it by uself.
I am the new DEV of FDE and I Will fix ERRORS,
dont come here and crie that you cant get your editor to work.
we dont help with people who want to make their own editor.
i help people who use MY editor.

sigh, the errors i encounter is using urs not mine and my intention was never to create MY tool.
Like i said, i've encounter this problem before i stumbled upon your post.

Im gladly to use ur editor instead of MY editor ( which i didnt have any intention to create one ) and i didnt come cry.. i was trying to pinpoint / help / support for YOUR editor to work

Once your editor works , others / me / you can use it to ease the burden of editing database.

Anyhow, if u think negative way. Im just speechless

Mine work allready Its your DB wich is not supported by the Editor.
Run all updates and get the lastest 3.1.3 DB.
i can create items creature OBJECTS :) only private atm need to release it and quest on my server its a 3.1.3 server with clean NCDB101 with all Arcemu updates.
so its not the problem of my editor.

What Darkgroom is trying to say, frestart, is that your database structure is incorrect. You need to apply all the SQL updates found in the Arcemu SVN. Until you do that, this tool will not work correctly with your database.
