If you use a Repack, then im sure that you can't do this because you need to edit the core, and the fles in a repack is a server already created, so you cant change the core... To create the server directly form the Core, and not use a repack, then please folow the guide of Vox , wich is in the Server Configuration Thread...
C++ begginer, already made 5 tutorials and im still up and running! need help? im here...

Here's an updated vers. for the newer revisions

Increasing Item Storage amount:

Open "arcemu shared folder in src folder" and find this line.

Code:
#ifndef STORAGE_H_
#define STORAGE_H_

#ifdef WIN32
#pragma warning(disable:4312)
#endif

#define STORAGE_ARRAY_MAX 200000

Change 200000 to 99999999.
============================================================================================
Changes to make your core 'Azeroth Flyable' - Quick Guide.

All these changes are made in folder trunk/src/game.
All these changes are made in folder trunk/src/arcemu-world.

============================================================

Open Player.cpp

Change:

!= 530 (there will be 3 of them)

to

> 580

then save.

============================================================

Open Spellauras.cpp

Search for: void Aura::SpellAuraEnableFlight(bool apply)

Replace the "else" with "if(!apply)" which should look like this:

Code:

void Aura::SpellAuraEnableFlight(bool apply)
{
if(m_target->IsPlayer())
{
static_cast<Player*>(m_target)->FlyCheat = apply;
static_cast<Player*>(m_target)->flying_aura = m_spellProto->Id;
}

if(apply)
{
m_target->EnableFlight(true);
m_target->m_flyspeedModifier += mod->m_amount;
m_target->UpdateSpeed(true);
}
if (!apply) //replaced else with: if(!apply) to allow flying mounts in the old lands
{
m_target->DisableFlight(true);
m_target->m_flyspeedModifier -= mod->m_amount;
m_target->UpdateSpeed(true);
}
}

Save Spellauras.cpp

============================================================

Open Unit.cpp.

Change:

!=530 (there will be one of them)

to

>580

Save Unit.cpp

============================================================

Marry xmas ps you still need to make flying mount trinkets

Change 200000 to 99999999.

Let's say you have an itemwith it 99'999'998. ItemStorage is an array of ItemPrototype* so a pointer, so 8 bytes in a 64 bit system. The index used for this array is the item id and the size is the max item id. With the default value of 200'000, ItemStorage is max 200'000 x 8 bytes = 1,6 MB.
With your change, the max size is 99'999'999 x 8 bytes = 800 MB.
Then don't come here saying arcemu leaks memory when you are wasting MB or RAM. Please, don't touch what you don't know, thank you.

So at first, open the SVN Checkout Folder/trunk/src

Open the folder named arcemu-world.

Huh??? I have arcemu saved in my C:/Program Files (x86) and somewhere else so which one do I go to??? Do I go to the folder where I have to click logon.exe and world.exe (the one in the picture) because I have an src in there and I have a cmake folder and build folder. I have changed the line as necessary in unit.cpp but surely it would need building and not just saving?
