I am trying to create a script that rewards you itemid "20559" which was Arathi Basin Mark of Honor, but I have renamed to "Reward Points"

The problem I am having is that everything seems to work, the server in says its added the item to your inventory, if you look in your currency tab it shows the correct amount. But when you log off and back on the items are gone, when you look in your playeritems table it doesn't show the item.

I have tried to use a item that has not been edited "20558" but have the same problem. I have also tried to remove the item if it exists in the playeritems table and then add the new count which also doesn't seem to work.

Here is the script: Paste Bin Code

Did you try with a simpler script that would just add an item to the inventory, and then relog? Does the console show any error related to items/inventory? God bless C++ and a proper IDE, in this way it would take 5 minutes to see why the item is not saved :)

The console is set to full/debug and shows no error related to items/inventory. Maybe I should just try and learn how to do this in C++ instead of trying to use the lua engine for it.
