This is an updated version of the Item Adder by JD and Caffeine328 as seen in his release post. I take no credits for anything other than updating to fit with the latest 3.2.0 Item Database.

Download
MediaFire
Filebeam

NOTE: This has been tested to work on an ArcEmu Rev2873 self-compiled server with the latest Item Database. If it gives errors, it is because you are not on the latest Item Database.

Nice script.

One thing people who use this should be careful is to add ' to the mysql_connect.

so:

		mysql_connect('127.0.0.1','root','root');
		mysql_select_db('world');

The way it is when you get it doesn't have '.

Heh, sorry Swift. I don't use PHP4 so I had no idea :P

Qwertypie, no, that was taken out. Now this is just taking one ID and putting it into the field and it adds it.

from what I understand he/she would like the following:

if ($_POST['startid'] && $_POST['endid'])
{
 for ($x = $_POST['startid']; $x <= $_POST['endid']; $x++)
 {
   $item = new wowitem($x, $_POST['wdb'], $_POST['user'], $_POST['pass']); // Constructor
   if (!$item->insert()) // Insert into database
   {
     echo "Failed to gather information for itemid: {$x}<br />";
   }
   unset($item); // Deconstructor
 }
}

<form method="post">
enter start id: <input type="text" value="" name="startid"><br />
enter finish id: <input type="text" value="" name="endid"><br />
<input type="submit" value="Begin">
</form>

Though don't forget you are opening and closing the db multiple times during this way, so you'd need to open a connection first then close it once all items have been parsed.

Hmm, something seems to be wrong. Not really sure what, but it adds in the first 20 or so Items, then skips the rest (I put in 42000 - 42600, and only about 42000 - 42050ish were added)

Gonna look at it tomorrow; Thursday by the latest. I just wobbled onto my computer to check out this post. Goin' back to bed now... Sick :P

Have you still got the 2 second gap between items?

Otherwise it blocks you from any more requests, annoyingly
