My logon and world servers appear to load properly. Client apparently sees the logon server. But when I click "Login" on the client, it stays on "Authenticating..." until it times out and says I have been disconnected from the server. I located one other post on this board addressing this issue but with no solution. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Here are some details about my setup.

* Arcemu server is running on Ubuntu 10.04 on a virtual machine inside Windows XP. WoW client is running on the XP host machine.
* Server address: 192.168.1.103
* Client on same subnet.
* World server sees logon server without any errors.
* No firewalls running.

realms.conf:
<LogonServer Address = "192.168.1.103"
	Port = "8093"
	Name = "Default Logon"
	RealmCount = "3">

<Realm1 Name = "Wayne's World"
	Address = "ubuntu:8129"
	Icon = "PVP"
	Population = "1.0"
	TimeZone = "2">

<Realm2 Name = "Private"
	Address = "192.168.1.103:8129"
	Icon = "PVP"
	Population = "1.0"
	TimeZone = "1">

<Realm3 Name = "Localhost"
	Address = "localhost:8129"
	Icon = "PVP"
	Population = "1.0"
	TimeZone = "1">

I see 3 realms entries. Did you try with only 1 entry? And why did you add 3 entries o.O ?

I followed the wiki to the letter and this was recommended. I'll try with just one and see if that helps.

You are right, I didn't notice yet that that part of the wiki was modified.

Why was that so hard to read peeps? :/

Unfortunately your instructions are inadequate to solve my problem, as the addresses that I'm using appear to fit your description of the usage/purpose of the various realms (with the possible exception of Realm1, because I neglected to set a host entry for "ubuntu" on my client machine.)

I don't intend to access the server from the internet, so I'll probably just delete the first realm. I'm not running a WoW client on Ubuntu, so I won't be accessing the server from the localhost, so I'll delete the last realm. Which leaves realm #2. The address for that server is 192.168.1.103. I'm only going to access it from my LAN (technically the same PC, but with the server running on a virtual machine). Is there any reason why the following config will not work?

<LogonServer Address = "127.0.0.1"
	Port = "8093"
	Name = "Default Logon"
	RealmCount = "1">

<Realm1 Name = "Private"
	Address = "192.168.1.103:8129"
	Icon = "PVP"
	Population = "1.0"
	TimeZone = "1">
