Hello guys, I made a site for my p server with joomla 1.6, i would like to "fusion" the joomla! login/register with the arcemu logon database.. does anyone know how?

at the moment the joomla and arcemu register are seperated.. and this is not realy professional..

here is a preview in german: http://gamezz.eu the server is just an old laptop.. so the site might be offline some times for server restart..

it would be verry nice if someone know how to put the login/register together :P

I disagree. Joomla is the most powerful and customizable open source CMS, you can modify it into whatever you want it to be.

Sindastra, I suppose what you are looking to do is to have one single credentials database for both your CMS and your server (even possibly your forum as well), in order to do this you must either configure each application to save and gather information from one single database. This should prove rather hard to acomplish, but it is quite possible.

The other option is to use something that I cannot remember what is called, but essentially what it does, is that when for example new user credentials are inserted into the "user" database in joomla, a third party application will copy this information to your game server database (and perhaps forum database) automatically. Though this is NOT recommended for highly populated servers, it is still another way of doing it. This might also prove rather complicated due to most high-end community forum softwares and CMS (including joomla) makes use of encrypted passwords.

I am myself yet to learn how to do this, but I am certian that it is indeed fully possible.

So in short; anything is possible! Spend some hours trying to figure out and you'll eventually get it done ;-)
