For sure there are less bug than now. And it's hard to tell if a bug is caused by your patch or was already here.
Sorry for my english, I'm french.

Updated to work with newest revision, anyway there are 2 new additions:

renamed column remove_quests to none_of_quests and extended its use: now instead of pushing quests into finished, you must not have any of listed quests active or finished (usable for Argent tournament, also can be used for same things as remove_qeusts column was used before. - thanks to Artox for idea)

updated SMSG_QUERY_TIME_RESPONSE, so now you can see, when daily quests will be reseted (take a look on screenshoot).

This patch must be a reviewed before all other patch because the actual quest system is very outdated and cause a lot of the quest bugs.
Sorry for my english, I'm french.

It's a huge patch, and harder to review.

First post is on 26th of February ... its not that huge as it seems, reviewing patch itself on the code side doesnt take more than 1 hour. What will take longer is testing, anyway i did a lot testing myself and i fixed all bugs i found.

Mesox, could you explain this please:

renamed column remove_quests to none_of_quests and extended its use: now instead of pushing quests into finished, you must not have any of listed quests active or finished (usable for Argent tournament, also can be used for same things as remove_qeusts column was used before. - thanks to Artox for idea)

I will explain it this way: you have quest 1 and in none_of_quests you have 2 3 4 5 6. When there was remove_quests, then quests 2,3,4,5,6, were pushed into finished quests, when quest 1 has been finished. But now, instead of pushing into finished quests, system check for these quests, when checking, if quest 1 is available to you. That means, you have any of those quests in list, or if you finished any of those quests, quest giver will not offer you quest 1.

Here a modified version of Mesox's patch. It only contain the quest relating change (not all the others fix) and fix 2 mistake that are in the Mesox's patch.
It make the patch easier to review and I hope that will made the Dev apply it faster :).

EDIT: here's the updated one : http://arcemu.org/fo...ndpost&p=106500

Describes something that we are told is coming soon (game updates, TV shows, etc.) but we have heard it enough times to know better. Whoever is saying x event will occur soon is considered to own the trademark on the word because they have used it so many times.

Here's another updated version of the quest patch.
This one is compatible with latest arcemu (3602) and change the way the type of areatrigger are handled. Now areatriggers type are flag because they can be a teleport trigger and a quest trigger (like Deadmines entrance trigger), or inn and quest trigger (world_quest_system.sql have been updated to update your database correctly).

The new AreaTriggerType enum:
 enum AreaTriggerType
 {
	ATTYPE_TELEPORT		= 1,
	ATTYPE_QUESTTRIGGER	= 2,
	ATTYPE_INN			= 4
 };
