I am working on a WOW launcher, just to get a little experience. I want to show the current supported version of both retail and private. Does anyone know where I can get the current supported retail version maybe in an xml that is updated? for that matter is there a way to get that info from ArmEmu. I did not see it in the stats.xml.

Normally the supported client version is listed on the main page. But it's down right now.

In reality, we don't change supported client versions quite that often. Just hard code it and change it when you actually checkout a revision that supports a new client. You'll want to set the MinBuild and MaxBuild settings in logon.conf to only allow the appropriate client revision.

I have just started trying to learn c#. As you can see on this image, I would like to have the launcher check all of the versions and let the user know (change red etc...) when it is time to patch one of the installations. But, where is the information so that I can have the launcher locate it and update the settings when the form loads?

I did find http://www.worldofwa...tatus/index.xml It is an xml where we could check the status of a retail server but no info on version supported.
