I downloaded DBC of Internet and extracted vmaps and maps using tool from win repack in wow folder on Win 7. Than I copied everything in the correct folders with winscp to linux server. But I keep getting this errors:

I've been following your guide for compiling over on the wiki on CentOS when trying to install git though it is simply telling me that Git is not not available.

I've attached a screenshot of what it's currently telling me but I don't really understand how to go about this.

Solved:
Somehow logon.exe got re-blocked on the firewall, I unblocked it and LAN clients can now connect.


First of all, I've read numerous topics, almost every page on the ArcEmu wiki, the entire FAQ, and so far nothing has helped.

I have a custom domain, tonyfox.ws, pointed to my external IP (174.124.*.*). All relevant ports are forwarded to my computer (the one hosting the server). My computer's LAN IP is 192.168.2.100.

I set up an ArcEmu server (built myself) and I can connect to it from localhost. I cannot get a LAN client to connect, it just sits at "Connecting". I've tried setting the LAN client's realmlist.wtf to "192.168.2.100" and "tonyfox.ws", neither of which work.

Ideally, I would like it set up so realmlist.wtf can be set to "tonyfox.ws" whether it's on the local computer, on the LAN, or from the internet. I can use different IPs (such as "set realmlist 192.168.2.100" on a LAN computer) if i really NEED to, but I'd prefer not.

I'd also like to get some clarification on exactly what some of the config sections need to be.

What does "Address" need to be? Will it allow LAN/external clients to connect if set to 127.0.0.1? Does it need to be set to my LAN IP in order for LAN clients to connect, and will it then let external clients connect? The world server can't even connect to the logon server if I set Address to either "tonyfox.ws" or my external IP

As per the instructions in realms.conf, I have three aliases for the realm set up, one for 127.0.0.1, one for 192.168.2.100 for LAN clients, and one for tonyfox.ws for external clients. I don't really think these are the issue, since LAN/external clients can't even connect to the logon server, let alone choose a realm.

I am not looking for a complete how to for LUA, just maybe a site that introduces the table structure and basic functions of the scripted events (such as how/where I create new NPCs and have them perform actions based on the LUA scripts).

The server went up successfully before I saw the information about the modules folder. I have forgotten to rename the script_bin to modules. After renaming this error came up.

I was not successfull building the debug version (C3859 and C1076 error some memory /Zm message when compiling) so I am sorry for not providing more (currently running ReleasewithDebugInfo)

Other thing I could see is: 0xc5 > LuaEngine.dll!000007fef5cfabce() with a marker at 000007FEF5CFABCE mov dword ptr [rcx+18h],eax

But I have no idea what that means.

If I remove the LuaEngine.dll, I can start the server.

Like the topic says I receive the compiler error C3859 and C1076.

I dont know why this error is coming up because I already have a table called db_version
So why does this come up, what to do?

I am following this GUIDE
Now I came to the point where it says "Start Compiling"
And I dont dare to continue now because I dont know how I define that I want to download a custom revision (rev1562) and not the newest.
Where and how can I define that I dont want the newest revision but the revision 1562 ?
Is that even possible?

When i try to get the source code, as explained in the tutorial on the wiki git bash > git clone git://githut.com/arcemu.git code
i get a error which i jsut cant find the solution to and it doesnt seem like anyone has posted a solution to this.

But what means the entry 4 ?
